“When I first saw Sara’s work I was instantly in love. The richness of color & texture and the dream like quality touched me so deeply. I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to commission a painting from her. I wanted to be a subject, but didn’t want a portrait. And so with that Sara spent some time with me (and my pups) in my home and on my property and then absolutely blew me away with the painting she created. She saw me. And then she created a world (that I look at daily) for the softest version of myself, a place where I am at ease, my multitudes peacefully embraced by the living earth, protected and loved. It was a thoughtful and moving experience from beginning to end. I’m forever grateful for the experience and of course to have a painting that is so beautiful and means so much to me hanging on my wall.”
